Ministry Formation 360

From Calling to Competence

Two 12-month coaching journeys — one for pastoral formation, one for leadership formation. Both built on the same rhythm of honest assessment, monthly coaching and written plans you keep.

Free to apply. You are only invited to enroll after a discovery session with your coach.

Pastoral Formation 360

Twelve months of guided assessment, one-to-one coaching and structured planning that turns a sense of calling into a documented, measurable pastoral development path.

Four dimensions of formation

Every assessment, score, plan and report in the program is organised around these four.

01

Call

Ministry and theological formation.

Theology, doctrine, pastoral competence, calling, ministry assignment.

02

Character

Personal formation and leadership health.

Personal development, emotional intelligence, boundaries, ethics, accountability.

03

Competence

Professional and leadership development.

Leadership, teams, strategy, administration, organizational development.

04

Context

Building the ministry God has actually assigned you to lead.

What the pastor is called to build, and the systems necessary to build it.

Who this is for

Aspiring pastors

You sense a call to pastoral ministry and want a structured, coached process to test, clarify and prepare that calling before you step into leadership.

Newly ordained pastors

You have been ordained or licensed and now need the formation, systems and plan that complement your credential with real readiness.

Founding pastors

You are launching a church, ministry or plant and need the model, structure, governance and systems defined before you scale.

Ministers preparing for ordination

You need an honest, documented readiness review rather than a letter of recommendation and a hope — including theology, ethics, pastoral function and character assessment.

Pastors building or restructuring ministries

You are leading an existing work through change and need a clear-eyed assessment, new rhythms and a written twelve-month plan.

Ministry leaders moving into greater pastoral responsibility

You are stepping from support-staff or lay leadership into a senior, founding or lead pastoral role and want your character, competence and context evaluated before the weight arrives.

Not for those seeking only a credential

This program is not a shortcut to an ordination certificate. It is for leaders willing to be formed, assessed and coached through the developmental process. If you only need a credential without engaging the work, this is not the right fit.

The 12-month journey

Months 1–2

1. Discover

We start with a comprehensive intake and a set of assessments across your calling, character, competence and context. This phase creates an honest picture of where you are now — your strengths, gaps and developmental priorities — so the rest of the journey is built on real data rather than assumptions.

Deliverable: Pastoral Development Profile, baseline domain scores and your top five developmental priorities.

Months 3–4

2. Define

Once the data is in, we shape your pastoral identity and ministry vision. You will craft a clear calling statement, core values, ministry philosophy and leadership philosophy so your decisions have an anchor.

Deliverable: Pastoral Identity & Ministry Vision Profile.

Months 5–6

3. Prepare

This phase tests ordination and leadership readiness in theology, ethics, pastoral functions, counseling boundaries, conflict management, spiritual authority and self-care. The goal is not perfection — it is documented, coach-supported readiness with a clear classification.

Deliverable: Ordination Readiness Report with a clear readiness classification.

Months 7–8

4. Establish

Readiness means nothing without rhythm. Here you build your first 90-day plan: weekly leadership practices, boundaries, pastoral care systems, decision frameworks, communication rhythms and accountability structures that keep you healthy.

Deliverable: First 90-Day Pastoral Leadership Plan.

Months 9–10

5. Build

With identity and rhythm in place, we turn to the ministry itself: model, team, structure, governance, finance, systems, volunteers and discipleship pathway. You leave this phase with a blueprint that can be handed to a board, team or presbytery.

Deliverable: Ministry Organizational Blueprint.

Months 11–12

6. Deploy

The final phase translates everything into a twelve-month strategic plan with SMART goals, a ministry calendar, key performance indicators, leadership development priorities and financial and outreach targets. You finish with a plan you can actually execute.

Deliverable: 12-Month Pastoral & Ministry Strategic Plan.
